I received my BFA from MICA. I grew up on skateboarding, subpop records, and giant robots. I enjoy creating in any medium. I currently spend most of my time in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop with a focus on illustration, logos, branding, and web UX/UI. I also enjoy taking on freelance projects/commissions and I am consistently creating my own original works. I have worked with National Geographic, threeA Toys, Mitsubishi, Nestle Purina Pet Care, and Wildlife Conservation Society, to name a few.
As a freelance illustrator I've created artwork spanning across a variety of mediums including book covers, sequential art, UX design, laser cut/3D, and branding. I also served as the Creative Director at Particles Collide, a design agency based in Asheville, NC for over 4 years.
2012 - Present
I co-founded Particles Collide as a boutique branding agency in 2012. As the Creative Director I am involved in all projects providing leadership and art direction. I primarily focus on UX Design for web and app development projects. Some notable works include UX Design for the Virtual Job Shadow brand, including a complete brand overhaul, UX design for the websites and learning portals, as well as UX design for the app. I have worked with National Geographic on storyboards and original illustrations for a video series. I worked recently with Wildlife Conservation Society on a UX design project for their internal portals built in Office 365.
